Scenic Areas of Minnesota

Minnesota is packed with scenic spots, and fun hangouts throughout the Twin Cities and across the state. Here are some of our favorites:

#1 - St Croix 

Downtown St. Croix, and if you have it, launching your boat for a day on the River makes for an exceptionally fun day. There are not many better views than the River Valley, and you can stop by fun shops in downtown St. Croix for a bit to eat or an ice cream cone.

#2 - Taylor's Falls

Long the choice pick for nature lover's in the area, Taylor's Falls makes for a fun short or long hike with friends or lovers.

#3 - St. Anthony Main

The boardwalk and cobblestone streets in downtown St Anthony Main with picturesque views of the Minneapolis skyline make for an unforgettable walk. Catch a bite to eat or a movie along St. Anthony Main, walk up to the dam's in the River, or across the boardwalk over to the Guthrie.

#4 - Harriet Island Park

Walk along the bluffs and river that seat downtown St Paul, and enjoy the river boat cruises of Harriet Island Park for a great day in Minnesota.

#5 - Downtown Wayzata 

Overlooking part of the sprawling Lake Minnetonka, cute shops and scenic walks abound in the heart of downtown Wayzata. 

#6 - Minnesota Valley

Conservationist lovers enjoy the Minnesota Valley near the MSP airport for walks, runs, biking or camping. 14,000 acres of pure delight.

#7 - Minnehaha Falls 

A favorite of locals, especially those closer to city life, Minnehaha Falls boasts great trails for walking, jogging, or biking, and picturesque scenes abound.

#8 - Gooseberry Falls 

A bit north of Duluth, discover gorgeous scenic waterfalls and hiking areas that are sure to delight. Perfect for a quick trip, while staying in nearby Duluth.
